Marc Naddell currently serves as Vice President of Developer & Partner Programs for NAVTEQ. Naddell is leading the team that will create and execute new developer & partner offerings focused on driving company results through key external relationships. The new offerings are targeted at mobile and internet application developers globally, supporting the community with on-line resources, technical support and business building activities through NAVTEQ and its partners. Naddell joined NAVTEQ in September of 2006 and is a veteran in the mobile communications industry with more than 19 years experience in creating and managing Partner Management Programs, Product & Solution Portfolios, and Business Strategies.
Prior to coming to NAVTEQ, Naddell worked for Nokia as Head of Developer Programs, where he created and led the Forum Nokia PRO team, bringing together several successful offerings to the industry including Forum Nokia PRO and six Forum Nokia PRO offerings which provide targeted holistic 3rd party engagement to business units across the company. Naddell joined Nokia in December of 2003.
Naddell was the Director of Motocoders for Motorola prior to Nokia, where he created and led Motorola’s 3rd party developer (partner) programs for their Handset Business. Naddell joined Motorola in September of 1987 and held a variety of leadership positions, including Director of Marketing for the Motorola PCS Asia, and was instrumental in creating and managing developer relations programs, managing product portfolios, creating business strategies and developing new businesses in Motorola’s infrastructure, semiconductor and consumer, government and industrial sectors.
In addition to his work in creating industry leading programs and wireless devices, Naddell has been awarded 20 patents for innovations in the mobile industry, mainly focused on user interface enhancements, location based services, infrastructure performance improvements and compelling new system and device features.
Naddell earned an Executive Masters in Management from the University of Chicago. He also holds Bachelor’s degrees in Marketing Management International Business.
